Mt. Trusmadi Package

Tentative Itinerary

Day 1

• 6.00 am: Pick up at your hotel in Kota Kinabalu. Overland transfer to the interior division, Tambunan.
• 7.50 am: Arrive Tambunan town, breakfast at local restaurant.
• 9.00 am: Meet & Greet at the Tambunan Tourist Information Centre for registration. Hikers
• 9.30 am: Briefing conducted by local guide.
• 10.00 am: Ready to be transferred to the FMU-10 Checkpoint Gate before heading up to the starting point.
• 11.10 am: Estimated time arrival at Taman Kitingan, the starting point and final briefing before hiking.
• 1.00 pm: Estimated time arrival at the Trusmadi Resthouse for check-in. Lunch served.
• 3.30 pm: Light refreshment is served.
• 7.00 pm: Dinner
• 8.30 pm: Genset switched off.

Day 2

• 1.30 am: SUPPER before ascending to Summit.
• 2.00 am: Trek up to Summit of Nuluhon Trusmadi Tambunan at 2,642 meters.
• 5.30 am: Reach to Summit. Enjoy the sunrise and view of Mt. Kinabalu if weather permits.
• 8.00 am: Trek down back to Resthouse.
• 11.00 am: LUNCH.
• 12.00 pm: REST & RELAX. Guest may request for a guided tour to see Nepenthes.
• 3.00 pm: LIGHT REFRESHMENT
• 7.00 pm: DINNER
• 8.30 pm: Genset switched off.

Day 3

• 8.00 am: BREAKFAST. (Early breakfast is available upon request).
• 9.00 am: Check-out and trek back to Taman Kitingan (Starting Point)
• 11.00 am: Expected arrival at Taman Kitingan. Back to Tambunan Town by 4WD vehicle.
• 12.00 am: Expected arrival at Tambunan Town. Collect your certificate (Tourist Information Centre).
