Sandakan Nature Experience

Itinerary

Day 1

Sandakan / Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre / Kinabatangan (Lunch, Dinner)

Pick up from Sandakan Airport or Sandakan town, then to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Center. The Orang Utans feeding time is at 1000 hrs.

1200hrs: Lunch at a local restaurant. Transfer to the Nature Lodge Kinabatangan – NLK (approximately 2 hours journey). Reach at Kampung Bilit jetty, take 3 minutes boat ride to NLK. Welcome drinks will be served upon arrival. Orientation by the staff.

1600hrs: Evening boat cruise along Kinabatangan riverbanks.

Return to Lodge to freshen up and then enjoy dinner in the midst of the Kampung Bilit secondary jungle!

Right after dinner, go for a guided night walks to enjoy the wilderness and watch sleeping birds and nocturnal.

Day 2

Kinabatangan / Gomantong Cave / Sandakan (Breakfast)

0600hrs: Morning River Cruise.

0730hrs: Return to the lodge for breakfast.

0830hrs: Check out then proceed to **Gomantong Cave.

Then drop off at Sandakan Airport or Sandakan Town.
